Pets are often considered an extension of the family, and some people spare no expense to provide the best for their companions. However, according to recent research, toys and treats are not the only way to win a pet’s heart. “With almost 70% of those surveyed prioritizing their pet’s dietary needs, it’s clear how central pets are to their owners’ lives,” the spokesperson says. Dr. Heather Acuff, Ph.D.., director of research and development at Nulo pet food in a report. “Pet parents don’t just understand their pets’ love language; they go the extra mile to provide top-notch care and nutrition, ensuring their pets lead healthy and happy lives.
Apparently, most people have a hard time saying no to their pets. This investigation also revealed that animals do not need to beg for long periods of time for food. On average, it only takes 9.5 minutes of begging before their animals are fed. 50% of those surveyed chose their pet’s current food because they think their pet likes it, 35% trust the quality of the ingredients, and 29% think it is affordable. 59% of respondents believe their pet is on a proper diet due to regular/consistent bowel movements, 50% believe their pet gets better quality sleep from a healthy diet, 50% believe a coat soft and smooth indicates good nutrition and 49% believe that a good daily energy level indicates that their pet is eating a good diet.
“Providing pets with top-notch nutrition is a deep expression of love and care. As pets cannot express their dietary preferences, it is the responsibility of pet parents to research and ensure that the meals we provide meet their dietary needs, maintain high quality and provide variety. palatable. There is no doubt that the food we choose has a significant impact on the quality of life of our pets,” adds Dr. Acuff.
