Arthur’s story
A few meatballs proved to be the recipe for turning a stray dog into a friend when Mikael Lindnord tossed a bit of his meal to an injured stray dog he encountered on day four of the World Dog Racing Championships. adventure. Taking on the role of the dog with a tenacious determination to stay by his new friend’s side is Ukaia talented tail wag who was so loved by his co-star Mark Wahlberg that the actor had hoped the dog could become part of his furry family, consisting of two Pomskies named Penny and JoJo, a Pomeranian called Champ, and a Boston Terrier nicknamed Lola.
“I was amazed at how close we became and how connected we were. So, of course, I wanted it,” Wahlberg later told People review.
Even if Mark Wahlberg was unable to adopt Ukai (who stayed with his trainer), his comrades Arthur the King Actor Simu Liu found his fur baby – a rescue dog named Chopa – while filming the movie in the Dominican Republic!
The pup even got the chance to be in the spotlight when Liu brought him to a special screening of the film.
