Alma is a female Jack Russell Terrier Cross aged 1 to 2 years old. She is originally from Romania and now spends her time between Maidenhead and Devon.
Alma can be nervous about new experiences and new people, but during the two months she spent in foster care, she blossomed.
Alma weighs 9 kg and measures 48 cm (to the top of her head). She travels well by car and now loves to go for walks.
Alma loves to sniff and wander, but can also enjoy a good run when playing with the resident foster dog. Alma would love a home with a resident dog.
Alma is also very good with cats. Ideally, Alma would benefit from a quiet environment with access to rural hikes.
Alma could be introduced to an occasional visiting child, but she would prefer an adult-only home.
Alma is potty trained and happy to sleep alone at night, as long as she can check on you from time to time. It can handle steps and stairs as long as they are not too steep.
Alma was hit by a car in Romanian and lost her front leg and her tail. She is understandably slightly nervous about traffic, but with patience and encouragement we are sure she will learn to cope with it.
