Part Chihuahuapart Poodlepart Australian Cattle Dog and 100% beloved dog social media influencer, RuPawl, celebrity dog on Instagram is in a class of its own. José Lizárraga, RuPawl’s human, tells Dogster that RuPawl’s popularity happened around the time that the American reality competition television series RuPaul’s Drag Race began to become more common after the series moved to VH1.
“We quickly became popular with Drag Race fans and the queens themselves.” RuPawl recently turned 6 (actually 9, José says, but you know they don’t want people to know their real age) and loves dressing up, taking long walks in nature, chasing wild rabbits, flirting with wild deer, eating organic and taking naps. “They don’t like carrots… yes, a little random,” says José, “but they literally pick the smallest piece of carrot from any dish we prepare for them.”

It’s no surprise that this two-time winner and model Webby and her human have set their sights on dog clothing, especially when their social media page is known for the fun and bold dresses they model inspired by Drag Race Queens by RuPaul.
Said José, the founder of dog trail“We will be creating distinctively DRAG seasonal looks, inspired by the queens of Drag Race and beyond. …It seemed important to us to launch a line that unapologetically showcases the beauty and artistry of drag.
Line launched with sizes small and medium, but will now be sold in large sizes. “Because,” says José, “doggies of all sizes deserve to look FABULOUS! » Want to follow this adorable mix? Strut over to @RuPawl on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok or check out Doggie Drag online store.
