JOB DESCRIPTION: Digital Marketing Coordinator
TEARS Animal Rescue is seeking a full-time Digital Marketing Coordinator in Sunnydale.
The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing and growing digital platforms as well as providing support to the marketing team. This included developing and implementing the social media strategy, delivering weekly and board reports, maintaining community management, accurate information across all platforms, timing and planning social media, all page/account inboxes including social media inbox, social media contests, mailers to our database, live streaming at events. This role involves creating content in the form of copy, hashtags, markup, graphics, and videos.
Digital marketing is the primary focus of the role. Any extra free time will be used to help with the general marketing of TEARS.
The daily role consists of:
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital and marketing campaigns across all digital channels including web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media and display advertising.
- Manage and optimize all company portals
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing, as well as implement and evaluate digital marketing objectives.
- Create and manage the content creation workflow
- Look for content created for external parties to boost marketing
- Help with graphic design needed
- Create engaging and relevant content that resonates with our target audience, including
- identify current trends and create content to align with trends and drive engagement
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media calendar
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education in digital marketing
- SA driving license and own vehicle
- own a computer
- Excel and excellent writing skills
- Strong research and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent management skills
- Knowledge of the Adobe Suite, Trello, Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
- Autonomous and problem solver
- Good attention to detail and strong time management and organizational skills
- Comfortable working under pressure and to deadlines
- Experience in a non-profit organization or animal/animal industry is a bonus
