Experience
Brandi has been with DotDash Meredith since September 2019. Prior to her role as Business Editor at Better Homes & Gardens, she was an Associate Producer directing feature videos for popular brands including InStyle, Better Homes & Gardens, Southern Living and Very Simple . Although her videos covered a wide range of topics, her main focus was on pop culture, home, and gardening.
Although she’s a self-proclaimed pop culture expert who knows way too much about the Kardashians and the cast of Don’t Worry Darling, her love for all things home and garden started at a young age so that she watched her grandparents tend to their gardens. . Watching his grandparents lovingly care for their gardens and show off their harvests at the end of the season instilled in him an appreciation for fruits, vegetables, flowers, birds and so much more. She also saw her parents frequently tackle their own DIY projects, from painting walls to making their own curtains, to make their house feel like home.
Favorite purchase:
My favorite purchases are my Scrub Daddy dishwasher and my Singer Start 1304 sewing machine. I’m disgusted at the thought of touching a dirty, wet sponge, and the Scrub Daddy dishwasher ensures I never have to touch a damp sponge. It also has a plastic scrubber for stubborn stains and a built-in soap dispenser. I also love my Singer Start 1304 sewing machine. I learned to sew a few years ago and it was easy to learn the basics with this machine. I learned how to do simple projects, like making pet bandanas and altering the straps on some dresses.
