Blue Ridge Beef is voluntarily recalling its Breeders Choice #2 Natural Raw Dog Food due to Salmonella contamination.
According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), they were notified that the dog food tested positive for salmonella on October 27, 2023.
The product concerned, Breeders Choice 2# Log Dog Food Pack #8/2/24 UPC 8 54298 00193 1was distributed between August 9 and August 25, 2023.
Additionally, the product is also packaged in clear plastic and sold primarily in retail stores in the following states: Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

And because the product is contaminated with Salmonella, the FDA urges consumers not to feed, sell or give away the recalled product. Destroy food immediately so that children, pets and wild animals cannot access it.
