I’ve always had pets, but having Hiccup was a huge learning curve. He currently does not need a wheelchair, although he may need one later in life, for now I think it would be in his way. But since he only has his 2 front legs, I had to adapt many rooms in the house to make it as accessible as possible for him. We now have all the low, shallow litter boxes so he can get in and out on his own. We have a ramp in the bedroom for him to get up on the bed. Although he normally meows at me until I pick him up. We have a staircase in the living room so he can climb up onto the couch. All our cat trees have low shelves, so he can climb on them.
