Tia is a 4 year old female Doberman. She needs a new home through no fault of hers.
Tia has lived in several homes and been raised several times and six months ago she was taken in by an elderly couple who were unable to provide for her. So she is currently with a couple who took her in but cannot keep her.
Tia is a very friendly girl and happy to meet new people. She is not socialized with other dogs and may bark when she sees them, but it doesn’t seem aggressive, so she just needs a home to help her socialize.
Tia must be an only dog to begin with and she cannot live with cats.
We don’t know if she lived with children, but in her current home she met her grandchildren and was kind to them. We would therefore consider a home with children aged 8 and up, although younger children visiting would be acceptable (provided you meet them and are comfortable).
Tia travels well, walks well on a halti, sleeps through the night and is a real sweetheart.
Tia is microchipped but not yet vaccinated or spayed (both will be done as soon as possible). Forever Homes can be located anywhere in the UK, but you will need to travel to our location in South Yorkshire.
As always, we ask all family members and children who will have regular contact with the dog to attend the competition. Our usual process is that you will have to come and meet the dog and the adoption will then be done during a second meeting.
