Murphy is a 2 year old male Pointer Cross. He is a survivor from Cyprus currently living with a foster family in Bourne, Lincs.
Murphy flew to the UK in early June to help him learn how to live in a house and then find his ideal family. Murphy is an absolute delight. He is friendly and very affectionate.
Murphy loves a good play and Zooms, but once they’re done, he’s happy to sleep in his bed or on the couch. He is on the larger side of medium, weighing around 19kg.
Murphy gets along well with other dogs and currently shares his foster home with one. He enjoys the company of his humans and has met young children in his foster family.
However, given his size, we would prefer that the children in his new home be familiar with dogs. Murphy is not a fan of cats and would not like to share a home with them.
Murphy is enjoying his life in the UK to the fullest. He takes training classes with his adoptive parents to help him learn new things and also to help him lead the walk. Like many 2 year old dogs, when excited he may sometimes pull.
Murphy is improving though and is eager to learn. He is clean and sleeps well all night in his bed.
Murphy would love to find a family happy to walk him twice a day and spend time with him. He is a smart boy and loves to explore.
Another dog in his new home might help him settle in as he loves to play. Murphy is ready to reunite with his forever family.
A safe and secure garden is a must for this boy as he always loves having zoomies. He was neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. A minimum adoption donation of £300 applies.
Our rescue must be informed at any time of a change in circumstances and our dog must be returned to one of our volunteers when needed and when space is available.
Murphy must never be handed over to a UK rescue, nor sold or adopted without our knowledge. We will always endeavor to rehome our dogs if necessary.
