- Local shelters list four dogs in Roswell hoping to be adopted: Newsbreak’s “Find Pets in Georgia” spotlights metro area pets in need of adoption. This week, several Roswell pet profiles were listed in their briefing. All animals observed are housed in shelters near the region. Four friendly dogs named Wasabi, Chai, Kava and Juniper are currently in the care of local rescue groups and need permanent homes. Their profiles are featured in the City of Roswell’s “Find Pets in Georgia” section. (Newsbreak)
- Candidates for Post 1 council seat share their opinions with a local media outlet: Appen Media’s Roswell-Alpharetta Herald met with each candidate running for a city council seat. A question and answer session was held for each respective post headquarters. The race for Post 1 is between Councilwoman Sarah Beeson and Jason Miller. Beeson is fighting to keep his seat. During the interview, the candidates answered questions about taxes, urban projects, affordable housing, elections, the economy and their opinions on how to make the city more accessible and walkable. - The Roswell High football team continues to improve its record for the 2023 season: The Roswell High School football team remains one of the most talked about teams in the Atlanta metro area. They currently hold a record of 7-1 this season and recently defeated Pope High School with a final score of 70-14. The Hornets offensive line is the one to beat; they average 52 points per game. The team has already accounted for 50 offensive touchdowns so far this season. Last Thursday, the team traveled to Marietta to battle one of their long-time foes, Sprayberry High School. (MSN)
