Nino started his life in a shelter in Bosnia. Unfortunately, he did not benefit from adequate socialization as a puppy. This led to lifelong shyness and difficulty trusting people. Unfortunately, this profoundly affected Nino’s ability to find a permanent home. Even though he adapts and learns to trust a few people, he suffers from anxiety and stress. Combined with his shy nature, this led to him being continually neglected. Although he had trial periods in several homes, none suited the shy man. elderly dog.
Although the shelter staff loves Nino, they hope he finds a friend soon. forever at home to live out their golden years. As he is a scaredy dog, this shy senior is hoping to find a calm home, preferably with just one person or a retired couple. He’s slowly losing strength in his back legs, so he would appreciate “short, regular walks.”
