beagles are often used as laboratory test subjects due to their small size and of a friendly and relaxed nature. These poor dogs are suffering heartbreaking mistreatment. They undergo a variety of torturous ordeals that cause them pain, injury, and even death. Additionally, they are kept in small kennels for the duration of their lives and are deprived of important physical activities, socialization and companionship. Although recent years have seen an increase in public outrage over experimentation on beagles and other animals, the practice continues.
@beaglefreedom Oh, sweet Sidney. We are deeply sorry for what you have experienced, but we are very excited for what lies ahead. After 9 whole years behind bars for committing no crime, you are finally free. ❤️🐶 ❤️ @Sat & Ted the Beagle @THE Sleep @Nathanthecatlady @Émilie @CrueltyCutter@Animal rights Activists 🐕 @Vegan Hacks Pod @crueltyfree makeup 🐰 @Grace | cruelty free 🐰 #dogrescue #dogrescue #beagle #beaglesoftiktok #beaglepuppy #seniordog #seniordogsoftiktok #ruleduchiensenior #seniordogsneedlovetoo #crueltyfree #crueltyfreemakeup #crueltyfreebeauty #dog #dogs #fyp #fypシ #fypage #fypシ゚viral #non-profit #softiktoknonprofit #endanimaltesting #endanimalexploitation #endanimalcrulety #viral #viraltiktok #viral video #go underground #dogsofinstagram
A dog who was subjected to this barbaric practice is Sidney. Sidney is believed to be nine years old. Until recently, the Beagle spent its entire life locked in a laboratory. He was subjected to repeated violence toxicity tests and remained confined to a small kennel for most of his life. It is believed that Sidney was subjected to experimentation from the age of ten weeks.
Eventually, Sidney was rescued by the Beagle Freedom Project. Since the Beagle never had the chance to learn how to be a regular dog, he was placed in a foster home to learn to trust people. Sidney was extremely traumatized by his years and years of captivity. A TikTok video posted on @beaglefreedom shows Sidney’s first steps in his new foster family. In the video, Sidney can be seen carefully getting out of his travel crate. He timidly takes his “first steps of freedom”.
Sidney slowly learned to trust his foster family. Fortunately, there was already another Beagle in the house who could help Sidney adjust. Soon, Sidney’s foster family decided to adopt her permanently. From now on, Sidney will live out the rest of his days in a loving home where he will never again be subjected to cruel experiments.
Although Sidney the Beagle’s story has a happy ending, not all animals used in labs are so lucky. Many will die because of the experiments they are subjected to. Others will be euthanized when they are no longer useful. Animal testing is a horrible and indefensible practice that must stop. Never buy products tested on animals. Look for reliable cruelty-free certifications when purchasing beauty or household products. Additionally, make sure to Support legislation that bans all animal testing.
