Luna is a Dalmatian whose humans recently brought home a younger one puppy. This puppy, named Lacy, seems to be settling in well with his new family. Recently, a video of the two dogs interacting went viral on the TikTok account @luna_lacy.

In the video, the two dogs can be seen sleeping snuggled up on a couch. However, young puppy Lacy appears to have a bad dream. She shakes in her sleep and emits a series of moans. Luna, being a good big sister, wakes up to see Lacy. She sniffs the puppy’s head before deciding that Lacy is fine and continuing her nap. The adorable video received over 29,000 likes.
Although scientists can’t be sure what dogs dream, they think their dreams are probably quite similar to those of humans. Additionally, a clinical scientist and evolutionist named Dierdre Barret hypothesized that it is highly likely that dogs’ human companions make appearances in their dreams.
To ensure canine companions have sweet dreams, Barret advises filling the day with happy experiences and making sure dogs have a safe, comfortable place to sleep. Experts also recommend avoiding waking a dog who is having a nightmare. Waking a dreaming dog can surprise him and provoke more stress.
